Prayer

This morning we were sending a letter to a sister in Christ in Vietnam who is in prison. The girls drew some pictures for her while I told them about her. Jehosheba was very moved and looked up and said, "Mommy, I want to pray for her now." My heart melted as the Lord showed her tender heart and love for His love..the church!

Sweeties

Beverly..

We enjoyed dinner with Beverly the other night.

Wow!

We pulled out a picture of Hattush when she was about Nahum's age and...wow! They look so much alike!

Planting the Cherry Tree..

Eric has been wanting to have a Cherry tree for some time now. While on their last visit, his folks so kindly purchased one for us. We planted it today. It is special in many ways, as the gift of Dad & Mom Reschly and it also was planted with the placenta that held our dear wee Nahum while in the womb. It is opposite the weeping Cherry planted in memory of Mrs. Besterman (the previous owners of our house).

Remembry Work...

Each morning we hide God's word in our hearts that we might not sin against Him. Here is just a wee taste of the various verses we have learned. The girls get so excited when they hear their memory work (or remembry work as Jehosheba calls it) in context at family worship, Bible or nap time and in a sermon when we gather together on the Lord's Day. And so do we! :)
